Silicone Bushing
Silicone Bushing, also known as Silicone Bush, Rubber Bushing (Bush) and Tubular Rubber Sleeve & Lining, it is a kind of vibration isolator separating the faces of two parts while still allowing a set degree of free movement, damping the energy transmitted through the silicone bushing, which is used on flange bearing, plain bearing, motor and transmission mounts, sway bar, lift spacers and suspension system component replacements. A rubber bushing is also be described as shock bushing and bearing sleeve.   
Bushing (Bush) is generally made from silicone, synthetic rubber, polyurethane, nylon, urethane and plastic, PTFE, etc, by its soft nature, higher abrasion, cut and tear resistance, high tensile, which is produced by die-coating mould, rubber compression molding or plastic injection mold tooling. Other bushing is also made from bronze, steel, brass, copper.

Silicone Rubber Bushing applications

Silicone Bushing serves as the important component in medical field, usually made of medical grade silicone with good bio-compatibility. More and more liquid silicone bushing are applied in medical devices, like tracheal casing pipe and infusion tube, known as silicone tubing sleeve.  

Suspension Bush is very common in vehicle suspension systems. Suspension equips the system of springs, shock absorbers and linkage that connects the vehicle to its wheels, which keep vehicle occupants comfortable and reasonably well isolated from road noise, bumps and vibrations.
Suspension Bushing Working:
When traveling over a large bump, silicone rubber bushing can minimizing transmission of noise and vibrations through to the chassis of vehicle. Therefore, a rubber bushing also described as a  flexible mounting or anti-vibration mounting. 
In skateboards, rubber bushings limit the motion of the trucks, called skateboard bushing.
In mechanical devices, with a-long-time use in moving components, silicone rubber bushing would wear out, and then need to be replaced.
