How does Silicone CPAP Mask Produce?

First, a 3D face scanner was used to obtain 3D facial data of participants. 

Second, a model of the face was created by reverse-engineering and then used for the computer-aided design (CAD) of the cushion. 

Finally, computer numerical control (CNC) was used to manufacture the mold, into which silicone was then injected slowly, which is called as LSR INJECTION MOLDING. LSR Molding & Liquid Silicone Molding, which is widely used to produce liquid silicone CPAP Mask by injection machines (vertical and horizontal liquid silicone rubber injection molding machines).

How Does Silicone CPAP Mask Work?

CPAP therapy is delivered through a CPAP machine, a device that sends a constant flow of pressurized air through the airway to prevent the throat from collapsing. The CPAP generator works by drawing air from the room and pressurizing it to a prescribed level. A hose then transports the pressurized air from the generator to a mask attached to the user’s face or nostrils.
