Silicone Sleeve for Glass Bottle's Types

Silicone Sleeve for glass bottle can be divided into 2 types: full silicone sleeve which "wrap" the whole bottle and half silicone sleeve with shorter height. For these 2 kinds of water bottle sleeve, mold-making ways are also different:

Mold-making way 1 for shorter silicone sleeve: Cheap & Easier to make, also the production process is easy and without parting line. 

Mold-making way 2 for full silicone sleeve: More Expensive & complicated, also the production efficiency is lower than way 1, for this kinds of mold-making way, there will be a parting line on the sleeve. 

Silicone Sleeve for Glass Bottle Production Process

Silica gel bottle sleeve uses high temperature vulcanized FDA Food Grade Silicone as the main raw material and produced by compression molding then moulding vulcanization:

1. Silicone Sleeve's design: Customers can offer the 3D & 2D design drawing for us, if don't have, let us know the basic dimension, our engineer can also help with the design.

2. Material Compression Moulding: Make a mold of silicone rubber sleeve, after the mold is well-finished, prepare the raw FDA Food Grade Silicone,  it includes raw FDA Food Grade Silicone mixing, color of improvement, calculate the weight of raw material, etc. Then make a preliminary silicone rubber sleeve by the silicone mold.

3. Surface symbols & logo treatment: 

• Silk Screen Printing:  it means to add some symbols or logo on the surface by printing process, which can make the products more beautiful.

• Logo Embossed on the surface, there are also many customers choose this kinds of production process, which means logo will be a little protruding from the silicone sleeves' surface as the followed picture shows.

• Logo Debossed in the surface, generally customers seldom choose this production process, for debossed logo, the symbol will be get dirty easily & not easy to clear up.

4. Surface protective treatment: For shorter silicone sleeve, Matte Smooth Coating can make the silicone sleeve have a better tactile and anti-dust function. For full silicone sleeve, generally our customer will also require inside matte smooth coating (double sides). In this way, it will make the full glass bottle sleeve easy to "get on/off" from the bottle, so that users' can save the assembly time and will also have a better using experience.

5. Silicone protective covers’ flash-removed: because during the molding process, there will be some raw edges (flash) stick on products, so need to remove them by hand.
