What is a duckbill valve breast pump?

Breast Pump Duckbill Valves are also known as Breast Pump Valve, Breast Pump Membrane Valve, Duckbill Valve for Breast Pump, Milk Valve for Manual Breast Pump. It is one types of Liquid Silicone Valve that used for electric milk pump and manual milk pump. Silicone Duckbill Valves are widely used in breast pump device kits by many baby care company like Ameda,  medela duckbill valve, spectra duckbill valve etc, and produced by LSR Injection Molding with FDA Food Grade Liquid Silicone material and and shaped like the beak of a duck.  

At first, the duckbill valves were made by compression molded HTV (solid )silicone, while considering the safety for baby care, Liquid silicone material enter into the market. Liquid silicone rubber which need intersive distributive mixing and also need cold runner systems in aim to maintain liquid silicone materials at a lower temperature before injected into heat cavities & chambers for vulcanization. Solid Silicone duckbill valves is easy to polluted by workers when production, and also not fully cured (some hazardous substance still stay in molded silicone even secondary vulcanization.)
