Mushroom Valve & Mushroom Check Valve, also known as umbrella valve, as one kinds of rubber one-way valves & intake and exhaust valves, which elastomeric diaphragm shape in aim to allow air & liquid flow in one direction and backflow in the opposite direction, working like rubber flapper valves & poppet valves.
Mushroom Check Valve will allow forward flow once the head pressure creates enough force to lift the convex diaphragm from the seat and so it will allow flow at a predetermined pressure in one way and prevent back flow immediately in the opposite way.
